MOGILEV, 28 May (BelTA) - Belarus should focus on the formation of the national style of broadcasting, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the Belarus Media Forum in Mogilev on 28 May, BelTA has learned.
“We need to form a national style of broadcasting, increasing the share of domestic high-quality, competitive products,” the head of state said.
The president stressed that he was not calling to abandon the foreign content in the national media. “Everything we buy should correspond to our way of life, traditions, culture, mentality. At least we should not clog the air with bloody, immoral and vulgar stories. I have already talked about this. We need an ideological filter, otherwise we will lose the youth,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
