MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) – Belarus will do everything for women, and not only during the Year of the Belarusian Woman, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a visit to the new Clinic No. 42, located in the Vostochny residential area in Minsk, on 3 April, BelTA has learned.
After the official opening ceremony of the new clinic, the head of state inspected the infrastructure and equipment of the healthcare facility. In the women’s health department, the president learned about diagnostic capabilities and the range of comprehensive medical services for women.
The president was shown an examination room equipped by Belarusian manufacturers. “Are you satisfied with this?” Aleksandr Lukashenko asked the head of the department. According to her, the Belarusian equipment gives no cause for complaint.
Overall, the gynecology department of Clinic No. 42 is equipped with the state-of-the-art medical technology: an ultrasound machine, a hysteroscope and other equipment. An interesting feature, which the head of state also noted, is that the department has an operating theatre – something that is not typical for a clinic.
“I will try to do everything that women need – not only during the Year of Women, but also in the future, as long as I am president,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stated. “Everything possible must be done for women – in the way that you, the specialists, know and see fit. You need to guide the Healthcare Ministry on which course to pursue. When it comes to this, nothing should be spared for women.”
