MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in connection with numerous human casualties and extensive destruction caused by floods and landslides in the wake of the tropical cyclone Mangkhut, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state stressed that it was with deep pain and sorrow that Belarus learned the news about the tragedy. Alexander Lukashenko conveyed the heartfelt words of support and condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished speedy recovery to those injured and rehabilitation to the disaster-hit regions of the country.
