Lukashenko extends condolences for victims of An-12 plane crash near Irkutsk

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has provided his condolences to the families and friends of the crew of the An-12 cargo plane of the Grodno airline, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“With deep pain I learned the sad news about the crash of the cargo plane of the Belarusian airline Grodno near Irkutsk, which killed the crew consisting of citizens of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine,” the statement of condolences reads.

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Aleksandr Lukashenko extended heartfelt condolences and words of support to the families of the crew members in connection with the grievous, irreplaceable loss.

The head of state wished the families and friends of the victims courage and resilience in this difficult time.
