MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"During this period, our states have expanded political contacts, witnessed fruitful results of cooperation in economy, technology and other sectors, and experienced firm mutual support in numerous organizations," the message of greetings reads.
The Belarusian president thanked the Sheikh for his personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations. "I am pleased to note that the Belarusian-Emirati dialogue at the highest level sets the tone for strengthening friendship between our peoples. Together with you I am ready to make effortsto take the partnership between Minsk and Abu Dhabi to the next stage and enrich it with new content," the Belarusian leader stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his loved ones good health and longevity, and the people of the UAE - peace and prosperity.
