MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – While making personnel decisions on 4 March, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave an instruction to prepare a draft decree on transferring some presidential powers to other government bodies, BelTA has learned.
The president ordered to prepare a draft decree that will enable governors to make decisions on design, construction, etc on their own, without consulting with the president. “If it is really necessary, they will coordinate with deputy prime ministers, since we have upgraded their status. So you will coordinate with them, and we will oversee these matters, except for land allocation, because land is sacred and these matters will remain within the purview of the president for now. And let them make decisions on everything else,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
