ASTANA, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has arrived in Kazakhstan on a working visit, BelTA has learned.
The leaders of the countries are set to exchange views on the international and regional situation, its impact on the security of the CSTO member states, discuss the cooperation and prospects for the further development of the collective security system.
Following the summit, the parties plan to sign a number of documents. Among them is a statement in connection with the upcoming 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On 28 November Astana will also play host to a joint meeting of the CSTO Foreign Ministers Council, the Defense Ministers Council and the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils.
In Astana, the Belarusian head of state will take part in a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council on 28 November.
