MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) – Colonel Maksim Butranets has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Border Committee. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the relevant decree on 25 April, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
With another decree the head of state dismissed Major-General Igor Pechen from this post. He was released from active military service due to reaching the age of retirement and preserves the right to wear military uniform and insignia.
