MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as the country celebrates Republic Foundation Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Throughout the history, the people of your country have repeatedly proved the inviolability of collective will and the pursuit of self-reliance. The whole world is witnessing how the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is proudly following the path of independent development,” the message of greetings runs.
The president praised the significant intensification of the dialogue between Belarus and North Korea at all levels. “I am convinced that Minsk and Pyongyang will soon achieve significant progress in establishing practical cooperation in such sectors as agriculture, medicine and pharmaceutics, education,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The president of Belarus wished the supreme leader of North Korea strong health and success in his work, as well as progress, stability and wellbeing to the people of the country.
