MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 39 on 5 February to appoint Colonel Vladimir Safonov Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces of Belarus’ Armed Forces, BelTA learned from the head of state’s press service.
