MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Lidia Yermoshina has been invited to monitor the presidential elections in Ukraine, BelTA has learned
During an Internet video briefing hosted by the website of the National Press Center Lidia Yermoshina said she has received an invitation from Ukrainian colleagues to take part in the election observation. “I am planning to go,” she said.
The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has completed the process of registration of presidential candidates. The commission has registered a total of 44 candidates, of whom 20 are independents candidates and 24 have been nominated by political parties. The vote is scheduled for 31 March.
