MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas met in Nur-Sultan on 28 June, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.
The meeting took place within the decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council to appoint Stanislav Zas CSTO Secretary General on 1 January 2020.
The president of Kazakhstan and the state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus discussed important issues on the international agenda and the security situation within the CSTO zone.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev approved the appointment of Stanislav Zas Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
