MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) - Double standards in international politics are no longer a figure of speech, but an obvious fact, political analyst Aleksei Dzermant said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“In international politics double standards are no longer a figure of speech, but an obvious fact: Gods may do what cattle may not,” said Aleksei Dzermant.
The political analyst stressed that the West condemns Belarus for harsh measures against protesters. At the same time, the United States uses a variety of restraints against its citizens. In France several dozens of people died during the ‘yellow vests' protests. Today, protests are also taking place in Germany, and the local authorities strongly condemn them and continue criticizing Belarus.
