MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) - The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the British intelligence service MI6 are set to use the Kalinovsky Regiment [the unofficial organization and its structural units recognized in Belarus as a terrorist organization] to destabilize Belarus in the run-up to the presidential election, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin said at the 20th meeting of the heads of security and intelligence agencies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow on 26 November, TASS reports.
"The CIA and MI6 are set to use collaborators from the Kalinovsky Regiment to destabilize Belarus," Sergey Naryshkin said.
He also noted that the West is not willing to put up with the loss of its former power and deliberately destabilizes the situation in key regions of the world. "The Euro-Atlantic elites cannot accept the loss of their former power. They are trying to convince the rest of the world that the only alternative to Western power is chaos, and for this they are deliberately destabilizing the situation in key regions of the planet," he said.
