MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) - Development of common approaches to solving emerging problems, further approximation of legal frameworks, and the exchange of experience will contribute to the more effective development of integration within the CIS and the EAEU. This conclusion was made by the participants of the ministerial consultations held at the CIS headquarters in Minsk on 24 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The consultations were attended by representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the CIS Executive Committee.
Representatives of the foreign ministries positively assessed the progress in the implementation of the memorandum to advance cooperation between the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission and hailed the practice of mutual participation in meetings of the CIS expert groups and sectoral cooperation bodies of the EEC Council
The parties exchanged views regarding the existing differences in the approaches set forth in the agreements of the EAEU and the CIS, the ways to combine efforts in developing the legal frameworks for the two integration associations.
The participants of the consultations called to intensify the effort to align the economic cooperation between the CIS and the EAEU. They also confirmed the commitment to promoting the integration.
