MINSK, 2 January (BelTA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus has stated that there are no Belarusians among the victims of the fire at the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, BelTA has learned.
“As of now, there has been no information indicating that citizens of the Republic of Belarus are among the victims,” the press service of the Belarusian foreign ministry informed.
“The Embassy of Belarus in Switzerland is in contact with local authorities regarding this incident,” the MFA noted.
The ministry also emphasized: “This tragic event serves as a reminder that the safety of guests and staff, including fire safety, must be an absolute priority for the administrations of all leisure facilities.”
