Implementation of Belarus-Turkey investment projects discussed

MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu in New York, USA, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service told BelTA.

A broad range of matters were discussed during the meeting.

The sides agreed to stay in touch and work together on implementing a number of economic projects and investment ones.

BelTA reported earlier that Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei is in New York on 21-28 September to participate in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

While in New York Vladimir Makei is expected to make a speech at the General Debate of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly and at the UN Food Systems Summit. He will also take part in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations for the sake of discussing the counteraction of unilateral measures.

Vladimir Makei is also expected to have bilateral meetings with colleagues from Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and top officials of the United Nations Organization on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
