MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) – A cat walked across the threshold of the new office of the Austrian embassy in Minsk before the embassy staff moved in, Austrian Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Karin Kneissl told reporters on 15 January, BelTA has learned.
Austria opened its embassy in Belarus in 2016. Now that Austria is expanding is diplomatic presence in Minsk, the embassy had to move into the new office.
“A cat has already walked across the threshold of the embassy today,” Karin Kneissl said before the embassy inauguration ceremony.
