MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Belarus Franklin Ramirez Araque to receive the copy of his credentials, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties reviewed the status of Belarusian-Venezuelan relations and the promising areas of cooperation between the two countries. The parties also reaffirmed the mutual interest in developing ties in the political, humanitarian, trade, economic and other avenues.
