MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Belarus to Spain Sergei Balashchenko met with Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) Shaikha Al Nowais on 16 March, representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Sergei Balashchenko and Shaikha Al Nowais exchanged opinions about the current state and prospects of advancing Belarus’ interaction with the organization in the context of reforming the tourism management system in Belarus.
The parties mentioned mutual interest in expanding cooperation in the field of sustainable tourism in compliance with goals and approaches of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
