MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko is expected to visit Switzerland on 5-6 September for a panel discussion on international security, Anatoly Glaz, Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a briefing, BelTA has learned.
As part of the multilateral high-level event, Oleg Kravchenko is set to present Belarus' main approaches and initiatives in the sector, including the launch of a wide international dialogue on security.
The Belarusian official is also expected to take part in the Belarusian-Swiss expert seminar to exchange experience in preventing acts of torture and ill-treatment, and discuss the matters of the bilateral agenda with representatives of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.
