Belarus, Sri Lanka discuss implementation of arrangements in politics, economy

MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation with concurrent accreditation to Belarus Janitha Abewickrema Liyanage on 4 February, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The sides continued the dialogue about the up-to-date agenda of the bilateral relations. In particular, progress in implementing previously made arrangements in the spheres of politics, economy, education, and healthcare was discussed.

Apart from that, new promising cooperation tasks were formulated.
