Belarus’ PM meets with China’s premier Li Qiang

 MINSK, 22 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko is holding talks with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang as the Chinese politician is paying an official visit to Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The one-on-one talks between the two premiers will be followed by a meeting with the participation of the delegations. The parties are set to sign a package of agreements in the economic sector.

The documents are expected to consolidate the plans for a promising partnership between Belarus and China in the key areas of cooperation, which include economy, trade, industrial and technological cooperation, science, education, transportation, digital development, green economy, and regional cooperation. In particular, Belarus and China will sign an agreement on trade in services and investment.
