Belarus, Oman eye closer logistics, tourism ties

MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) - A meeting of the Belarusian part of the Belarusian-Oman Intergovernmental Committee on Cooperation and Investments was held at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 24 February, chaired by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, BelTA learned from the Belarusian ministry of foreign affairs.

Representatives from relevant ministries, agencies, and organizations of Belarus discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation with Oman in agriculture, industry, logistics, healthcare, culture, tourism, and information and communication technologies.

They paid particular attention to the progress in the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and the roadmap for cooperation between Belarus and Oman for 2026-2027.

In pursuit of the goals established by the head of state, officials drew up proposals outlining concrete steps to expand bilateral cooperation. These will be agreed upon with the Omani side at the first meeting of the Joint Committee on Cooperation and Investments between the two governments.
