MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong on 28 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties exchanged opinions on topical issues of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of the agreements made by the leaders of Belarus and China on the sidelines of the SCO Heads of State Council in Uzbekistan,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The parties discussed interaction and mutual support in international organizations.
As BelTA reported earlier, during the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to discuss a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation.
