MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – A session of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus will take place on 1 March, BelTA has learned.
Participants of the session will summarize results of elections to the 8th convocation House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. Heads of oblast election commissions and the Minsk city election commission will present reports on results of elections to the 29th convocation municipal councils of deputies.
Belarus’ CEC will also decide on convening the first session of the 8th convocation House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, will schedule elections of delegates of the Belarusian People’s Congress, and will determine representation quotas for Belarusian People’s Congress delegates to be elected by municipal councils of deputies and civil society entities.
