Brest played host to an international match between transplantologists and their patients on 24 October. The event marked the European Day of Organ Donation and Transplantation. The team included organ transplant surgeons of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic, participants of the nationwide seminar on organ donation and transplantation due in Brest on 25 October. Their opponents were residents of Brest and Brest Oblast who underwent organ transplantation.
