The Church of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker is the oldest architectural monument in Gomel District. The wooden church with baroque elements was built in the village of Staraya Belitsa around 1710. During the renovation in the late 19th century, the church obtained a narthex and aisles. The church is included in the list of Belarus' historical and cultural heritage.
