The state program “Roads of Belarus” for 2021-2025 is designed to upgrade the country’s transportation infrastructure. A central pillar of the initiative is building safe, high-quality roads that serve as a national hallmark. Significant progress has been made during the current five-year period, with approximately 18,000 km of roads and over 400 bridges repaired or reconstructed. For 2025 alone, Br2.3 billion has been allocated for these efforts, targeting the repair of over 5,000 km of national and local roads. A key focus is replacing gravel surfaces with asphalt concrete on the roads linking district centers to agricultural towns.
