A religious procession was held in Vitebsk on 12 September, ahead of Mother's Day, the Week of Parental Love, and Father's Day. Organized as part of the cooperation program between the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee and the Vitebsk and Polotsk eparchies of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, the procession walked from the Holy Dormition Cathedral to the monument “Prince Alexander Nevsky and His Family” where the Christian believers held a prayer service for family well-being and celebrated the fathers of large families.
