Belarusian rower Yauheni Zalaty has progressed into the men’s single sculls final at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The Belarusian won the preliminary and quarterfinal heats. On 1 August Yauheni Zalaty competed in Semifinal 2 against the athletes from Greece, Croatia, Germany, Denmark and Romania. The Belarusian finished second in 6:39.01, behind Germany’s Oliver Zeidler. Third was Stefanos Ntouslos of Greece.
