A temporary memorial was set up at the main entrance of Minsk Arena to commemorate HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl that died in a plane crash on 7 September 2011. Among them were Belarusian hockey players Ruslan Salei and Sergey Ostapchuk and coach Nikolai Krivonosov. On the 14th anniversary of the tragedy, all who wished paid their respects to the memory of the hockey players. Flowers were laid by Chairman of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation Aliaksandr Bahdanovich and also coaches and players of HC Dinamo Minsk.
