To bolster emergency preparedness, medical workers from across the country practiced anthrax response protocols in Mogilev on 21 October. A key component of the drill at Hospital No. 1 involved the demonstrated procedures for collecting, packaging, and transporting soil samples to a laboratory for analysis.
