On 4 October, Chashniki played host to the Dazhynki harvest festival to celebrate the agrarians of Vitebsk Oblast. The festival featured thematic pavilions presenting the culture and traditions of different districts in Vitebsk, a fair, Craftsmen's Town and an agricultural machinery exhibition. The festival wrapped up with a ceremony to honor the best performers in the agribusiness sector.
