BelInterGen is a private Belarusian company specializing in pedigree cattle breeding. More than 90% of its herd is of the Holstein breed, which is the world's primary dairy producer. The company also breeds Jersey cattle, as well as breeds that are rare for Belarus, such as Ayrshire, Simmental, Highland, Angus, and Belgian Blue. The bulk of the milk is supplied to a processing plant and the rest is used to make cheese on a trial basis.
