Citizens from various countries are queuing to enter Poland at the Brest checkpoint. On 11 September, the State Border Committee of Belarus received an official notification from the Polish Border Guard stating that the checkpoints on the Belarusian-Polish border would be closed on 12 September, from 1:00 Belarusian time. This refers to the road checkpoints Brest- Terespol and Kozlovichi- Kukuryki and also four railway checkpoints: Grodno - Kuznica Białostocka, Berestovitsa - Zubki Białostockie, Svisloch - Siemianówka, and Brest - Terespol. Belarusian border guards are taking all possible measures to expedite the process so that as many people as possible could cross the border before Poland closes the border.
