
David-Gorodok is a town with ancient history, located in Stolin District of Brest Oblast. It was founded in the early 12th century by Prince David, grandson of Yaroslav the Wise. One of its key historical sites is an ancient settlement, where visitors can see a stone inscribed with the words: “From here began the town of David. 12th century”. The main architectural landmark is the wooden Church of St. George, dating back to the late 17th-early 18th century.
