Belarusian Universiade kicks off in Minsk

Belarusian Universiade kicks off in Minsk Minsk hosted a ceremony to launch the 2025/2026 National Universiade, the most large-scale sports competition among higher education institutions. The Universiade program will include 27 sports, with 46 higher education institutions of Belarus taking part in the event. The winners of the 2024/25 Universiade in five groups were honored during the launch ceremony. The absolute winner of the Universiade was the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.
