On 19 August Orthodox believers celebrate the Transfiguration of Our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Chris, one of the twelve most important Christian holidays. This feast is also called the Apple Feast of the Savior. Residents of the agro-town of Knyazhitsy, Mogilev District, together with representatives of the Mogilev district centralized club system reconstructed the ancient rites of this holiday. Among them - tying ribbons on apple trees and fortune telling on apples.
