MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – The Belinterexpo enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has arranged a large-scale exposition titled “Made in Belarus” at an international exhibition INNOPROM in Russia’s Yekaterinburg, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo.
On 8-11 July well-known Belarusian companies will be showcasing their best products and technologies in the manufacturing sector.
One of the first visitors to the Made in Belarus exposition was Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Industry and Agroindustrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission Gohar Barseghyan. She was shown Belarusian developments and exclusive new products by Belarus’ Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov and Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov.
The Belarusian exposition is on par with the exposition of this year's partner country, the United Arab Emirates, in terms of the number of new products and exhibits. The Belarusian stand has aroused a great interest among professional visitors, representatives of foreign companies and the business community.
A delegation of the United Arab Emirates headed by Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the UAE's special envoy to Russia H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber visited the Belarusian stand during presentation events at the INNOPROM.
“It is noteworthy that distinguished visitors to the Made in Belarus exposition include representatives of retail chains and industrial companies from members states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization that the Republic of Belarus has recently joined as a full member,” Belinterexpo Director Natalya Kurash emphasized.
Belarus has prepared a number of unique exhibits for this year’s INNOPROM expo. These exhibits were from such industries as mechanical engineering, production of polymer materials, machine tool building and metallurgy, production of household appliances and electronics. There were also cutting-edge scientific solutions and technologies.
Even before the start of the exhibition, one of Belarus’ exhibits aroused a huge interest in the organizers. The exhibit is one of Belarus’ most anticipated new releases - the MAZ-X truck tractor manufacturer by MAZ, the management company of the BELAVTOMAZ holding. Products of Mogilevliftmash also caught the eye.
According to reports from foreign partners, the exhibition portfolio of Horizont Group includes a wireless touchscreen TV set that can operate without an antenna and a series of H-book laptops, including a miniature personal computer H-top MAK.
Visitors showed a genuine interest in freezers, refrigerators and washing machines from the famous Belarusian enterprise ATLANT.
The microelectronics and electrical equipment section at the Made in Belarus exposition features such well-known brands as Integral, Planar and Minsk Electrotechnical Plant.
The mechanical engineering and equipment section is presented by Heavy Forgings Plant, BKM Holding, and Zenit.
The machine tool industry section showcases products by Gomel Plant of Machine Tools and Components, Krasny Borets, and StankoGomel.
