Kazakhstan interested in Belarusian expertise, technologies in dairy farming

MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Kazakhstan is interested in Belarusian experience and technologies in dairy farming, Azamat Saginbayev, Executive Director of the National Chamber of Dairy and Combined Cattle Breeds of Kazakhstan, told journalists on the sidelines of the forum titled as Dairy Business 360°: Agriculture, Processing, Market, BelTA has learned.
“I gladly accepted the invitation to participate in the forum. Kazakhstan is currently actively developing livestock farming, including dairy cattle breeding. The government has approved a comprehensive livestock development plan for 2026-2030. We know that Belarus has very developed poultry farming, pig farming, and dairy farming. Belarusian experience in developing dairy farming is of great interest. This concerns animal husbandry, genetics, construction and design of dairy farms. We are already adopting your experience, a number of Belarusian technologies are being applied in Kazakhstan, quite successfully. Further cooperation will benefit the development of the sector in Kazakhstan,” Azamat Saginbayev said.

According to him, dairy farms are being built in the country using Belarusian technologies. “We visited the Gomelagrokomplekt enterprise and were impressed by the technologies and scale of farm construction,” the specialist noted.

The forum Dairy Business 360°: Agriculture, Processing, Market is dedicated to current issues in the development of dairy farming. It brought together heads of agricultural enterprises, processing companies, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, the scientific community, industry experts, and companies supplying technologies for the agricultural industry. The discussions focus on the efficiency of dairy farming, milk production and processing, raw material quality, modern feeding and veterinary technologies, as well as the development of domestic and export markets for dairy products. The business program of the forum includes a plenary session and panel sessions devoted to production costs, risk management in agriculture, quality of milk raw materials, processing and the formation of added value of products.
