MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Europe’s largest stormwater treatment facilities will be built in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, the park’s press service told BelTA.
In Changzhou (China), the Industrial Park Development Company, together with China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Hippo Technologies Co., Ltd., reached an agreement to construct stormwater treatment facilities in the Great Stone park using modern modular infiltration technologies. The capacity of the infiltration treatment reservoirs will exceed 50,000 cubic meters, allowing stormwater collected from park facilities to be absorbed into the soil after maximum purification.
In terms of scale and treatment efficiency, these facilities will become the largest of their kind in Europe. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2026, with commissioning planned for the first half of 2027.
