MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) - A Chinese investor, with the assistance of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus (NAIP), has opened the company BelAgroTechRazvitie Xinnong in Belarus, BelTA learned from the agency’s press service.
The company is registered in Klichev and will operate in crop production and processing with a focus on exports. The investor is Shaanxi Xinrun Enterprise Group, a diversified company from Shaanxi Province whose interests in Belarus extend beyond agriculture.
In November 2025, representatives of Shaanxi Xinrun Enterprise Group took part in the Belarus Investment Days in Beijing forum organized by NAIP. Following negotiations with the NAIP team, the decision was made to launch an investment project in Belarus.
At this stage, NAIP is accompanying the new project, with negotiations underway on purchasing domestic machinery and necessary equipment. The investor’s team is headed by company leader Zheng Zhiwei, who also serves as Executive Vice President of the Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce Abroad.
