MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – The company AO Klaipedos Nafta (KN) has decided to maintain long-term cooperation with the enterprise BNK (UK) Limited which belongs to Belarusian Oil Company, the largest exporter of oil products in Belarus, BelTA learned from the website of AO Klaipedos Nafta (KN).
The contract which had been in effect since 2016 was extended for two years (till 31 December 2021). The parties will be able to further prolong it with a separate agreement. The document provides for possibilities to ship light and heavy oil products of Belarusian oil refineries.
According to KN Oil Business Director and Acting CEO Darius Silenskis, the extension of cooperation allows hoping for larger volumes of shipments in the future.
At present, the KN oil terminal is among the top terminals in the Baltic region in terms of capacity. Klaipedos Nafta has cooperated with Belarusian partners for over ten years.
