SVETLOGORSK, 1 August (BelTA) – Since the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim was established, it has exported over $210 billion worth of petrochemical goods, BelTA learned from Belneftekhim Chairman of the Board Andrei Rybakov at an offsite session of the Belneftekhim Board.

The Belneftekhim Board session is taking place in the city of Svetlogorsk. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik is taking part in it.

Andrei Rybakov went on saying: “Products made by Belarus’ petrochemical industry are known in 145 countries across the globe. The development of the industry’s enterprises depends heavily on the strategic vision of the head of state, who has personally visited the manufacturing facilities. We’ve travelled a complicated road over the past 30 years but time indicates it was the right way.”

The expanded-participation session is taking place at premises of OAO SvetlogorskKhimvolokno. An exhibition has been organized at the company’s premises. It reflects the main stages of development of Belneftekhim enterprises over 30 years, major investment projects, and innovative goods.
