
MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - Belarusian enterprises signed first contracts at InterFood Azerbaijan in Baku running in the Azerbaijani capital on 13-16 May, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo company at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
In furtherance of the official visit of Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin to Azerbaijan, and the Belarusian-Azerbaijani Business Forum, Belarus is taking part in InterFood Azerbaijan 30th edition.
The launch of Belarus’ exposition is one of the key events on the bilateral business agenda. Within the framework of InterFood Azerbaijan 2025, Belarus continues the tradition of showcasing its best products and achievements.
On the opening day, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan attended the Belarusian exposition. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich briefed the president on the displayed line-up.
Made in Belarus exposition features 24 largest enterprises. Thus, the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom is displaying the confectionery by Spartak. For the first time Belgospishcheprom has exhibited sugar, fruit and vegetable line-up from Gorodeya Sugar Refinery.
Brestmyasomolprom concern, one of the largest associations of the meat and dairy industries in Belarus, is displaying the products by a number of enterprises: Brest Meat Processing Plant Luninets Dairy Plant, Pinsk Meat Processing Plant , Pruzhany Dairy Plant, Bereza Meat Canning Plant.
Babushkina Krynka and Molochny Mir, the leaders of the Belarusian dairy industry, are also taking part in InterFood Azerbaijan 2025.
Among the exhibitors of the Made in Belarus exposition are the largest industry enterprises of Grodno Oblast, including Volkovysk Meat Processing Plant and Grodno Meat Processing Plant, offering a wide range of sausage products.
Rogachev Milk Canning Plant has brought canned milk, cheese, whole milk products, butter, dairy products for children, as well as lactose-free condensed milk to the exhibition. Broiler chicken meat, semi-finished products, sausages, smoked meats, Halal poultry meat products are exhibited by Druzhba Poultry Farm.
On the sidelines of the exhibition in Baku, Belarusian companies aim to expand their export geography. For example, during the first days of InterFood Azerbaijan 2025, Luninets Dairy Plant signed a contract for the supply of milk powder worth $10 million.
The 30th edition of the international exhibition InterFood Azerbaijan, featuring the exposition of Belarusian producers Made in Belarus, will be running through 16 May 2025.
InterFood Azerbaijan is the largest specialized expo uniting producers of food and beverages, technologies and equipment for food production in Azerbaijan. The exhibition has established itself as the leading event in the food industry of the Caspian region with a rich trade and economic agenda. InterFood Azerbaijan 2025 gathered several hundred exhibitors from 17 countries, including representatives from Belgium, Canada, China, India, Italy, Türkiye, Russia, Sri Lanka and Canada.
