Belarusian Cement Plant's cement export 53.7% up in January-July

MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – In January-July 2021 OAO Belarusian Cement Plant increased cement export by 53.7% in comparison with January-July 2020, BelTA learned from the website of the holding company Belarusian Cement Company (BCC).

According to the source, Belarusian Cement Plant is one of the enterprises run by the holding company. In January-July 2021 Belarusian Cement Plant increased cement output by 4.6% in comparison with January-July 2020, with lime output up by 7.9% and chalk output up by 9.5%. The growth rate of cement shipments in the period under review totaled 110%. Cement export rose by 53.7%. Proceeds from sales exceeded Br14.1 million, with the profit margin at 8.9%.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) Belarusian Cement Plant is one of the largest manufacturers of construction products. Thanks to advanced and environmentally safe technologies, the rational use of natural resources, constant control over the quality of manufactured products and optimal organization of manufacturing and management the enterprise makes high-quality portland cements(including sulphate-resistant cement, sandy cement, fast-hardening cement, cement for transport construction, slag-portland cement), construction lime, powder chalk for combination fodder, silica bricks, foam concrete blocks, reinforced-concrete products.

Belarusian Cement Plant sells the products on the home market and exports them to Russia as well as countries of the European Union (Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland).
