Belarusian Ambassador attends Istanbul Yarn Fair in Türkiye 

MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Türkiye Anatoly Glaz took part in the 22nd International Istanbul Yarn Fair on 27 March , BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy.

The event featured leading enterprises of the Belarusian petrochemical industry as part of the joint stand of Belneftekhim Concern. Among them were Naftan, a major producer of petrochemical products, including polyacrylonitrile fibers, Polotsk-Steklovolokno, one of the major fiberglass manufacturers in the CIS and Khimvolokno Plant of Grodno Azot. 

The Istanbul Yarn Fair brings together more than 500 companies, over 16,000 specialists and representatives of industry manufacturers presenting a wide range of yarn and raw materials. Thanks to its broad audience of professional visitors from Europe, Asia and the Balkans, the fair is regarded as a major international meeting platform for manufacturers. This year, representatives from around 80 countries are taking part in the event. 

Ambassador Anatoly Glaz held a number of business meetings, negotiations and B2B sessions with representatives of regional industry companies and foreign partners, and also met with exporters and importers to discuss plans to supply Belarusian products to the Turkish market this year.

The Ambassador presented diplomas of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Belarusian exhibitors for their active participation in the exhibition and for promoting Belarusian products in Türkiye.
