MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – Belarus plans to combine the roadmap with the World Bank with its National Sustainable Development Strategy through 2035 and Social and Economic Development Program for the next five-year period, Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi said in an interview to the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA has learned.
According to Dmitry Krutoi, the matter pertains to “the plans to align the roadmap with the development of forecast documents.” The World Bank supports the initiative.
The National Sustainable Development Strategy through 2035 and the National Social and Economic Development Program are almost ready. The main provisions of the program will be published and presented in Q1 2020.
As for the roadmap, the parties hope that it will be ready before the end of 2019. Dmitry Krutoi said that there are no disagreements on its form, structure and events. The only issue still discussed is the speed of transformations the Belarusian economy is facing.
