Belarus teams with World Bank to work out roadmap of structural reforms

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – An interagency working group has been established by the executive order of Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas to organize interaction with the World Bank in order to prepare a roadmap of structural reforms in the Republic of Belarus. Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Yaroshevich will head the group, BelTA has learned.

After consulting with the World Bank the group will have to submit the prepared roadmap of structural reforms to the Council of Ministers.

If necessary, the working group will be able to rely on expertise of heads and specialists of central government agencies and other state organizations accountable to the government, and specialists of other organizations if their directors allow it.

The Economy Ministry will organize the operation of the working group tasked with putting together the roadmap of structural reforms in the Republic of Belarus.
